First Day of School

Avi and Anderson started afternoon preschool. They go from 12:30-3:00 and are in a class with children who turn 5 between August and Dec. They are really enjoying it and want to go to school each week. The only bummer part for me is that I have to wake Ellie from her nap each school day.

There are a set of triplet girls at school that Avi usually plays with. She can always tell the difference between one of them, but the other two she gets mixed up with and so does the teachers! Anderson is enjoying having more boys in his class this year. His favorite game to play at school is chase the girls!

Fun Visit for Labor Day Weekend!

We had visitors this weekend! Auntie Rachelle came this weekend with her friend Rikki and her boyfriend Matt. They were visiting from Michigan and had quite the weekend planned!
They took a flight to Chicago and got in around 8:00 in the morning. Then took the train out to Round Lake. We all spent the day together and went to my parent's pool to enjoy the 90 degree weather! The kids were absolutely in their glory playing with Auntie Rachelle, Rikki, and Matt! When Chevy returned from work we went out our fav spot, Tacos El Norte!

I had to include all three pics of this group shot! I just love the kids faces! The young teenagers, went to Chicago on Saturday and Sunday for a Techno (sp?) Concert.

All in the air!

We had such a fun weekend and accomplished so much and did so much! While our visitors were in Chicago, we went to Great America to play at the water park with the Domier girls. Then Chevy and I went out on a much needed date night with the Domier parents. On Sunday, we went to my parent's house and had a little celebration for my mother. Always fun for all the cousins to play together. Then Monday, we did some things around the house and headed to Gurnee Mills for a little while and got some good deals!

Harvest Time

Now our garden is over growing and we are enjoying our vegetables!

We have a lot of cherry tomatoes.

Our tomatoes got really big and the girls picked some that were not ready yet. Oh well, I just love that they can go out to the garden and see the process of growth. I want to make tomato sauce, we will see if I get it made.
