Anderson Lost His Tooth!

I know that most of you already know that Anderson lost his tooth, because I posted it on Facebook! I wanted to also remember this very special day, Nov. 28th, 2011, on my blog.

On Monday, I taught at CC and the kids went to their class. When I went to pick them up from lunch I was greeted with a tooth missing smile! I think that Anderson was running around with the boys and his tooth fell out. The apple he was eating right before, he was running around, helped it come right out. There wasn't any blood and he wasn't traumatized by the situation.

In my mind, I just can't believe this is already happening! It took so long to get those baby teeth, with many fussy and cranky moments and now these precious little teeth are leaving? This can't be possible!? A, you need to stop growing!

So the Tooth Fairy came to our house and gave him $1.00. Anderson also has received money from Uncle Jay and Grammie. Lucky kid! He has already made $4.00 off of one tooth!

Thanksgiving Program at School

I want to start this post by saying, my beautiful Nikon camera battery was dead, so I just had my point and shot camera. :( So the pictures are not clear, but they are still cute! :)

The kids had their Thanksgiving program at school and they were the Pilgrims. They dressed-up and sang songs. I must say it was so special to be in the audience and just come to the performance. I'm usually in the other seat as I taught 2nd grade prior to kids and usually put on these performances.
Avielle was the loudest and really knew all the songs!

My mom and Avielle!

I bought each of the kids turkey shirts from Etsy.com! I just love that site and all the handmade goodies that are on there. Anderson's turkey is a super hero!

Ryan came and went into work late to see the performance!

Me and my girlies!

This is Anderson's best buddie, Kyle.

Avielle loves to be with Linnea.

My idea of Ice Skating for 5 and under!

We went to the downtown Chicago's Children's Museum over the weekend. They had this adorable winter display that was interactive. The kids got to take off their shoes and skate! They also had fluffy cotton to do snowball fights and the kids had a blast throwing them.

In the video is Avielle, Anderson, Ellie, and Katie Grace.

Silly Face!

This is a good example of what happens when you are trying to complete a task around the house and you leave your kids to color. Nothing like the fear that comes over you when your son yells, "Mom, Ellie is coloring herself!" Thankfully it came off, but really what was she thinking?

Build a Bear

On Sunday we celebrated this little sweetheart, Lucy! She turned the big 5! Her mommy treated the girls to "Build a Bear." The girls just LOVED it! Avielle of coarse picked Hello Kitty to make and she named her "Strawberry."
Here is Lucy, Mackenzie, and Avielle.

Then us moms got a picture with our girlie's! It was such a special moment to me to be able to do a mommy/daughter date with Avielle. I'm really not alone with each of my kids very much so this was such a treat!

Then we went and had yummy Gelato! Of coarse the mommy's also had some!

Here are the girls wearing lipstick from the Mac counter! See them puckering their lips?

Halloween Sunday and Monday!

In our town we always have trick-or-treating the Sunday before Halloween. It is nice to have it during the day from 1:00-5:00. Though on Sunday it wasn't the best weather with wind and rain. That is typical Illinois weather! In the above picture the girls are reading as they wait to go trick-or-treating.
So on Sunday we had all my sisters over, minus my parents, because they were out of town. Here are all the boy cousins in their Darth Vador costumes and Kaeden is a monster.

Here are all the princess girl cousins. (Katie, Ellie, Avielle, and Penelope)

My sister Jenny brought chili for us all to eat and these amazing cups so we could drink apple cider as we went trick-or-treating! We were way cool!

Our little MONSTER!

The kids table!

Here is our newest addition, Jonathan!

It was so fun to have all my sisters over and all the cousins just love to play and be together. It just warms my heart!

Okay, now on Monday night we went trick-or-treating over at the McMahon's house. Kelli and Josh made an amazing dinner for us all and the presentation was Martha Stewart approved! We were actually able to talk and eat while the kids played so nicely together!

2 adorable Belle's!

Ellie and Steph they both just love the candy!

Here is the whole group of kiddos: Domier girls, McMahon girls, Loeffler's. Yes, there are only two boys in this whole group!

Halloween Friday and Saturday

This year the kids have gotten a lot of use out of her their Halloween costumes! Friday night we had small group over a the Domier's house. The kids dressed up and had a fun treat to eat. In the above picture we are missing Rylee, Logan, and Brooke.

Brynn and Ellie enjoying their marshmallows.

Here are all the kiddos from our small group except Alex who helps to watch them all, bless her heart! There are 5 couples with 11 kids!

Cute sisters!

The next day, Saturday, we went to downtown Grayslake and went trick-or-treating at the businesses there. Lets just say it was a mad house!!!!! YIKES!

Avielle with her friends Lucy and Mackenzie!

They got to sit on the fire truck! Love Mackenzie and Avi's face!

Avielle with her girlfriends Bella and Brynn. I'm bummed that I didn't get a picture of Anderson and Nolan as they were both Darth Vader! And Ellie was there to, but she was just not wanting any pictures that day! HA! Though you will see a lot of her on Halloween as she was not picture shy!

I will post the next two days of Halloween soon!
