Anderson's 5th Birthday!

Okay, so as you know Avielle's Birthday is 5 days before Anderson's, well it was the longest 5 days of my life waiting for Anderson to turn 5! He would ask me every few hours when he would be 5! Well, two weeks ago Anderson turned 5 and when he woke up he asked for the Birthday plate for his usual pancakes! I felt like this was the first year that both Avi and Anderson completely understood what a Birthday meant and how the day was focused around them and boy they didn't let us forget it was each of their special days! HA!
Here he is in his Birthday shirt!

Both Avi and Ellie were sick on Anderson's Birthday with pneumonia! Surprisingly Anderson never got it! YEA!

Avi and Ellie took naps and Chevy decided to take Anderson to the Jump Zone for a special afternoon with his cousins.

That night we went to Anderson's favorite place, Mitches for a hot dog and ice cream..

Anderson you are so loved by your family! I love your love of life and of coarse your adorable laugh/giggle! You are so creative in your play and always come up with a fun made-up game. Sometimes you act like a tough guy, but you always love to give your mommy and daddy hugs. You are so good with your words and remember everything! You like to be organized only if mom is doing the organizing. Funny how you always thank me and show appreciation when your room was cleaned by me! You are one determined little guy. You learned to ride a bike without training wheels in hours. That was after you bugged us for days that you were ready for those training wheels to come off! I love to see your desire for sports and how you want to be just like your daddy.

We love you SO MUCH!

Her Name!

Ellie wrote this yesterday when she was making a card for GG. I have sat down with her before trying to teach her to write her name, but she didn't want anything to do with it. I was surprised to look at her paper yesterday and see her name. She did it all by herself!

Ellie knows all her letters and all their sounds. I really didn't work with her on memorizing the identification of her letters and sounds. I did with the older two. I must say I think she learned a lot from the TV! HA! So the TV can be good!

Skinny Jeans Tight Rolled!

My little angel was getting ready this morning and as she put on her skinny jeans she said to me, "Mom, I need to roll the ends of them like Auntie Rachelle!" Thankfully Avi has her cool Auntie Rachelle and Auntie Renee to help with her fashion! I thought to myself, wow Avi you are becoming a little lady! I know that she is only 5, but I'm sure I'm going to hear more and more about the "Cool" style!

She did this herself! Aren't you proud Rachelle?
I also want to give myself a pat on the back, because almost all of Avi and Anderson's clothes this year have been used. I have been selling their baby clothes and then using the money to buy other used clothing. If you want to check out the site I sell on facebook it is called Restyled Kids. There are some adorable outfits out there for half of the price!

3,4,5

This is the last day I can say this!!!! MY KIDS AGES ARE 3, 4, AND 5! Tomorrow is Anderson's 5th B-day and he brought it to my attention that Ellie is 3, he is 4, and Avi is 5! So I thought I need to get a picture. Well guess who didn't want to take a picture! Yes, Ellie is not into taking pictures as of late! Maybe it was she just woke up from a nap and her hair is a mess?!?! Oh, well! I almost have two 5 year olds in my house!!!!!

Birthday Girl!

I cannot believe it! Our little girl is 5 years old! She is such a sweetheart and is extremely caring towards others. Avielle is extremely smart. She is starting to read and loves to color! If Avi sees a little one in the room she is drawn to the baby. She is so gentle and loving towards them. She is such a great big sister to her sis, Ellie and her cousin Penelope.

Avielle loves to help around the house and she loves to cook!

The day before her Birthday my mom had a big party for my dad, Avi, and Anderson. Avi and my dad share a birthday! Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the day. :(

Today I taught and the kids went to their class. Avielle brought in treats. For dinner we were going to go to Mitch's one of her favorites, but it was closed!!!! So we went to her second favorite place, Taco El Norte! She loves TACOS! Her friends joined us in the celebration!

The McMahon Girls!
The Kids Table

The Domier Girls!

Then we came home for ice cream and presents!

The 3 KIDDOS! Such LOVE!

We each said something we LOVE about Avi tonight. Anderson said, "She is nice and she always shares with me!" Ellie said, "I love Avi and she shares her toys with me!" Both Daddy and I love your generous heart and your love for your family. We love that you truly love God and others. You have a determined spirit and a beautiful heart! We love your smile and love of life!!! We can't imagine our lives without you sweet Avielle. You are so loved and your bro and sis think the world of you!!!! We pray many blessings on you this year!

Women of Faith

This weekend we, "The Girls," went to Milwaukee, WI to the Women of Faith Conference! Thank you to our amazing husbands who took over our duties to watch the kids while we left early Friday morning and we were able to be refreshed!

Left to right: Jackie, Leah, Kelli, Pamela, Theresa, Barclay, and myself! Sweet Shari was saving us seats!
The event took place at the Bradley Center and we had really good seats! Thank you to Allie who set up the event and invited us!

We took some pictures before the event started. Here is Pamela and Shari.

Barclay and myself

One of the reasons for going to Women of Faith was to meet Angie Smith. She was one of the first blogs that we read and her heart captured our souls. She wrote about her struggles as she was told that her little girl that she was pregnant with, did not have a good chance in surviving. She blogged about her feelings and struggles. Angie now tells her story at Women of Faith.

I have BOLD friends who saw Angie near the stage and we decided to go see if we could find her after the concert. Kelli saw where all the speakers were walking in from. She asked a security guard and he went and talked Angie to see if she would come out and speak to us. He told us that she would be out soon to meet us. As soon as we were told she would, we all became like little girls!!!!

Barclay started filing her nails!

Shari searched for lip gloss!

Kelli also searched for her lip gloss!

As we were waiting Natalie Grant passed by!!!!

Here is Angie Smith! When she came out I think we were all awe struck. She asked us each of her names followed by a hug and was genuinely nice! I dream come true!

Here we are at our second day at Women of Faith.

Barclay and Jackie

You are not going to believe that all 8 of us fit in a mini van! It was a cozy ride! Ha!

Here is a fearless driver!

When our evening ended we headed to Olive Garden and talked about what we learned during the weekend. What a great retreat for each of us! We heard such encouraging and challenging words.
